The Gundam Eclipse community has grown around a shared love for Gundam and mecha model building, bringing together hobbyists from all corners of the internet. From detailed master-grade kits to custom paint jobs and scratch-built dioramas, members share their work-in-progress threads and finished builds in the display case. The forum's review section offers thoughtful takes on upcoming kits and series, helping modelers decide what deserves a place on their shelf. Whether you are a veteran builder or just picking up your first kit, the discussion boards are always open for questions, tips, and friendly conversation.
The work-in-progress threads are the heart of the community, where builders document every step of their journey from sprue to finished model. Members post progress shots, ask for advice on panel lining, seam removal, and weathering techniques, and celebrate milestones together as projects come together. The atmosphere is supportive and constructive, with experienced modelers freely sharing their knowledge with newcomers. Many threads evolve into detailed build logs that serve as tutorials for others, and the gallery section gives finished projects a permanent home where they can be admired and discussed long after the last coat of topcoat has dried.
Regular announcements keep the community informed about forum news, upcoming events, and new content uploaded to the affiliated channel. Video uploads featuring build demonstrations, kit reviews, and series discussions are highlighted for members who prefer visual learning over text-based guides. The forum also maintains an ongoing conversation about the Gundam universe itself, from classic series to alternate timelines, offering a space for fans to debate, theorize, and share their favorite moments. These discussions often inspire builders to take on new projects based on the mecha they see on screen.
The forum runs on the contributions of its members, and those who appreciate the community have the option to support the site through donations. This support helps keep the forum running smoothly, covering hosting and maintenance costs so that the discussions can continue without interruption. The team behind the site is committed to keeping the experience clean and functional, with a straightforward layout that puts the content first. Whether you are here to show off your latest build, learn new techniques, or simply talk about the Gundam universe, this is a place built by modelers, for modelers.
